As a way of supporting the National Government’s “Build, Build, Build” program, Duros Development Corporation has put up a concrete plant in the Province of Leyte. Duros Group of Companies Chairman Rafaelito Barino said during the plant launching last February 8, 2019 that they back the government’s goal to modernize the country’s infrastructure backbone.
After Siargao Island in Surigao del Norte, this is the company’s second stationary plant outside of Cebu. It was an easy decision to put up a facility in Sta. Fe, Leyte especially since a big percentage of construction aggregates, the main component of an asphalt concrete pavement, comes from the town.
